We often receive questions in reference to how people can help support Gamer Lamer. As we are certain you have noticed, we do not have 47 banners or 13 layers of pop-ups, nor will we ever. When we decided to make the site, it was never with the intent to try to exploit it or suck our readers dry. Quite simply put, we enjoy doing it and hearing comments from people like you. For the most part, Gamer Lamer has survived solely on out of pocket capital. You may have already imagined that running a site like this one can take a fair amount of money and time. To date we have incurred costs for such nifty things as hosting, bandwidth, scanners, Wacom tablets, etc. While we have no problem paying for these things now, costs will eventually become prohibitive.

1. The single most important thing you can do to help Gamer Lamer is to simply continue visiting the site and participating in the forum. Building a solid reader base is very important to us. Remember to vote!

2. Another major way you can help is to simply help spread the word about the site. The more people we can get as regular readers, the better. This will greatly help in the future with potential advertisers. Feel free to link back to us. Our banners can be found here.

3. In the near future, Gamer Lamer will be offering a number of merchandise items (shirts, stickers, etc.). These items will be sold at cost. These are intended to help get the word out, not to make money.

4. Finally, we have a PayPal account for donations. This is our version of a tip jar. While we will never beg or throw a donation request in your face, we ended up deciding to at least make it available.
